The check engine light goes on and off... The previous owner told me it started doing that as soon as he had the performance chip installed. I had my mechanic test the truck and he could not get any diagnostic error codes what so ever. I've been driving the truck as my primary vehicle for a year and have had no problems at all... its a great truck! The guy I bought it from is a minor league professional hockey player and used it for daily transportation. He said he never towed anything with the truck and the the original owner had the 3rd wheel ball installed. The transmission shifts smoothly and doesn't appear to have been abused or need to be replaced.
