this ariel atom chassis was intended as an electric conversion. the chassis was new, never used, and has been modified with reinforcements to support batteries. reinforcements can be removed if desired (some of them will need to come out if you want to install a gas engine). it has no VIN and is sold as a project, as is. the transmission mounted in it is a vw golf diesel unit, factory remanufactured with zero miles. wheels are from a lotus elise with pirelli p-zero tires. the chassis is complete with all controls, suspension, wiring harness, plastic body panels and one-piece seat. it has alcon front brakes and combination parking brake in the back. brake lines and master cylinders are included. it does NOT have: fuel tank, radiator, dash, engine. this is a great project car!
