So, I'm selling my VW. Well, really, it belongs to me and my kids: two boys, 6 and 9. We bought it two years ago from a college student on her way to France. We paid $2,200 for it. My plan, since before I had kids, was to buy a car in the Spring of one year and sell it the Spring of the next and then buy another one. Well, we didn't get it sold last Spring. We were knee deep in a house remodel project and never had time to replace the top (the canvas is shot), so we just drove it on sunny days and kept it parked in my Dad's garage when we weren't driving it. It's sitting there know. He would like me to get it out of there. I can't blame him. Thus, it's time to get her sold. I'd rather sell it as is. As we bought it. Let the next owners replace the top (or not) with the material and color they choose. It run's pretty well. Drives straight. Has good breaks. Shifts like it should. Has good get-up-and-go. Doors open and close. The top open and closes too. Needs new door handles. They work, just the locking mechanism is gone. Thanks for looking and bid to win!!!
