Up for auction is a 1967 cj5 jeep, 4wd with v-6 and manual 3spd transmission.. was told the tranny was a T-90. I took this jeep in on a trade deal and just don't have the time or money to put into it.. GOOD: It does run and drive but not roadworthy vehicle yet but with alittle work it would be great fun...It has aftermarket rims and tires 33x12.5 , tires are probably 30% or less but still hold air and still go thru mud..I put new bushings in the front end along with a new steering stabilizer.. BAD: Needs front end work. Steering gets wobbly pretty bad. needs brake work, driver side brake grabs hard and it pulls bad to the left. It needs all new shocks all the way around....Has surface rust in the floorboard but not all rusted out like alot of them, does have small rusted out spots in the bed but still solid..front fenders are fiberglass and have seen better days, either repair or replace.. Has its dings and surface rust spots on the body but like I said, its not all rusted out like I've seen alot of them.. The transmission needs new 2nd/3rd gear fork, it pops out of second gear and further investigation showed the 2nd/3rd gear fork was tac welded and is worn out.. check with 4wd.com and they said $165.00 could replace the whole thing from the shifter handle to the top cap with both brand new forks.. I have a hard top cover for it, I pulled the windows out and started to sandblast but like I said I just don't have the time or money to finish..It does have all the glass for the windows, one window is fiberglass and will need new rubber around the windows, old ones were dry rotted and fell apart. Does have a rear seat that was redone not too long ago.. The front seats are still useable but drivers side backrest is broke and both could us redone or replaced.. I did use some spray in bedliner in the rear which needs another coat, if I don't get it done I have 2 more cans I will give to you.. Front windshield seems to be in good shape, is missing one windshield wifer motor and the other I was told needs rewired... I have done the best to describe this as I can but I'm sure I may have missed something.. If you are the winning bidder and don't like what you see when you get here then walk away with no hard feelings.. I don't know much about this jeep, I've had it for less than a month and have drove it around in my pasture probably 4 or 5 times...Be a great play toy to fix up or use for parts..
