I drive every one of my sale vehicles and write a thorough description including the good and bad of the vehicle. I will include any history that I know about the car, but I do not often get a good history and I will not pass on any information that I do not have documentation on. I am not a mechanic. Up for Auction is a 2000 Audi S4. The S4 was Audi's answer to the BMW M3 and the Mercedes AMG cars, and quite the answer it was. Audi took the sporty, luxurious A4 sedan and turned everything up a notch. The engine is a factory tuned 261 hp, 295 lb/ft- torque, twin turbo monster of a 2.7 liter V6. They tuned the suspension to be tighter and corner better while still holding the German luxury comfort at cruising speeds. The brakes are huge multi-piston ABS units. The 133,000 mile S4 up for auction is in excellent mechanical condition. The engine starts right up, idles smoothly, and has every one of those 261 hp present and accounted for. The turbos spool up quickly and provide power to still be accelerating hard at 120mph (the fastest I've test driven this car). There are no check engine lights. The 6-speed transmission shifts smoothly and clicks in and out of gear with German precision. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip. Audi Quattro all wheel drive is universally acclaimed as the best all wheel drive set-up in the world, especially for a sports car. One drive in an S4 in less-than-perfect weather and you will see that is clearly the case. Quattro will keep your wheels from spinning and allow you to put power to the road no matter what the weather. The big ABS brakes will stop this car very fast and do not have any shakes or pulling. The suspension is tight and has excellent road manners. It is comfortable to cruise on a long trip, but provides excellent road feel and grip for spirited driving. This car is painted in Audi's signature silver metallic paint. It is in above average shape. The only damage of note is some damage to the rear bumper (see pics). The factory tinted windows are all in perfect shape. The 18" wheels are Italia AT alloy wheels with chrome lips. The silver alloy spokes and chrome outer look excellent against the silver paint. The wheels are wrapped in Yokahoma Avid Envigor W-rated tires. These tires have deep tread, but can have noticeable road noise on some pavement. The Yokahoma tires have excellent grip, especially in the wet. The interior of this S4 is in excellent shape as well. This car has the optional Sport package with aluminum trim and two-tone Alcantara & leather seats. The sport seats have grey Alcantara center upholstery with deep black leather bolsters, heated seats, and 8-way power adjustability. Alcantara is a synthetic ultra-suede designed for wear and stain resistance. The Audi sport seats hold up better than any other leather interior I can think of. The seats in this S4 do not have any rips or tears. I have included detail pictures of the driver's seat (which is the seat that gets the most wear) to show the excellent condition. The factory floor mats, with embroidered S4 logo, are all included and in good condition. Audi loads out their top-tier cars with all the luxury options. This car has power locks with remote; power windows and mirrors; and a power sunroof, all work properly. The driver and passenger seats are power adjustable and heated. The Audi Symphony AM/FM, cassette, & CD stereo system has the factory BOSE speakers. The sound quality of this stereo is better than most aftermarket system I've heard and has quality sound throughout the range including deep bass. The automatic climate control system keeps the vehicle warm or cool at a set temperature, automatically adjusting fan speed and air temp. This S4 appears to be stock mechanically and cosmetically with the only non-standard parts being the Italia wheels. It shows no sign of being abused or improperly maintained. The center screen on the gauges has some bad lines, this is normal for older Audis. There are no check engine lights. The S4 is not just a powerful sports car, it is also a safe car. It has seat belts; driver, passenger, and side airbags; strong ABS brakes; and Quattro all wheel drive. This car is well rated in crash tests. Audi is known for making a quality, luxurious automobile and the S4 is one of their best. This one up for auction is a quality example and a blast to drive. These cars have a dedicated enthusiast following and I can see why. Audi took the sporty, luxurious A4 sedan and turned everything up a notch. The engine is a factory tuned 261 hp, 295 lb/ft- torque, twin turbo monster of a 2.7 liter V6. They tuned the suspension to be tighter and corner better while still holding the German luxury comfort at cruising speeds. The brakes are huge multi-piston ABS units.
The 133,000 mile S4 up for auction is in excellent mechanical condition. The engine starts right up, idles smoothly, and has every one of those 261 hp present and accounted for. The turbos spool up quickly and provide power to still be accelerating hard at 120mph (the fastest I've test driven this car). There are no check engine lights. The 6-speed transmission shifts smoothly and clicks in and out of gear with German precision. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip. Audi Quattro all wheel drive is universally acclaimed as the best all wheel drive set-up in the world, especially for a sports car. One drive in an S4 in less-than-perfect weather and you will see that is clearly the case. Quattro will keep your wheels from spinning and allow you to put power to the road no matter what the weather. The big ABS brakes will stop this car very fast and do not have any shakes or pulling. The suspension is tight and has excellent road manners. It is comfortable to cruise on a long trip, but provides excellent road feel and grip for spirited driving.
This car is painted in Audi's signature silver metallic paint. It is in above average shape. The only damage of note is some damage to the rear bumper (see pics). The factory tinted windows are all in perfect shape. The 18" wheels are Italia AT alloy wheels with chrome lips. The silver alloy spokes and chrome outer look excellent against the silver paint. The wheels are wrapped in Yokahoma Avid Envigor W-rated tires. These tires have deep tread, but can have noticeable road noise on some pavement. The Yokahoma tires have excellent grip, especially in the wet.
The interior of this S4 is in excellent shape as well. This car has the optional Sport package with aluminum trim and two-tone Alcantara & leather seats. The sport seats have grey Alcantara center upholstery with deep black leather bolsters, heated seats, and 8-way power adjustability. Alcantara is a synthetic ultra-suede designed for wear and stain resistance. The Audi sport seats hold up better than any other leather interior I can think of. The seats in this S4 do not have any rips or tears. I have included detail pictures of the driver's seat (which is the seat that gets the most wear) to show the excellent condition. The factory floor mats, with embroidered S4 logo, are all included and in good condition.
Audi loads out their top-tier cars with all the luxury options. This car has power locks with remote; power windows and mirrors; and a power sunroof, all work properly. The driver and passenger seats are power adjustable and heated. The Audi Symphony AM/FM, cassette, & CD stereo system has the factory BOSE speakers. The sound quality of this stereo is better than most aftermarket system I've heard and has quality sound throughout the range including deep bass. The automatic climate control system keeps the vehicle warm or cool at a set temperature, automatically adjusting fan speed and air temp.
This S4 appears to be stock mechanically and cosmetically with the only non-standard parts being the Italia wheels. It shows no sign of being abused or improperly maintained. The center screen on the gauges has some bad lines, this is normal for older Audis. There are no check engine lights.
The S4 is not just a powerful sports car, it is also a safe car. It has seat belts; driver, passenger, and side airbags; strong ABS brakes; and Quattro all wheel drive. This car is well rated in crash tests.
Audi is known for making a quality, luxurious automobile and the S4 is one of their best. This one up for auction is a quality example and a blast to drive. These cars have a dedicated enthusiast following and I can see why. I would drive this every day over any other sports sedan.

Vehicles must be picked up within 14 days. After this date, a $20/day storage fee will be imposed. Any vehicle left more than 31 days may be considered abandoned.
