Vehicle Detail

MOTOR: 5k miles; 73 440 block, 30 over; stock intake/exhaust manifolds; Carter competition series 750 carb; 906 casting heads slight port/polish; 9 to 1 pistons, balanced with dampner, fly wheel, clutch; comp cam XE268H (.477/.480) lift (268/270) dur, and timing chain (double roller); NEW: alternator, water pump, hoses, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, . BODY: Painted last summer; NEW: tires/rims (5k miles), carpet, seat, door weather stripping, window whiskers, windshield wiper motor, headlight switch, fan switch, radiator, switch-over gas tank switch, ECU box, voltage regulator, master cylinder, rear drums, axle bearings and seals, front seal on rear dana 60 pinon, front pads/calipers, front shocks, headlights and bulbs (all lights work), after-market gauges (oil pres, volt, temp), exhaust (2.5" aluminized with H pipe w/ wannabe flow master muffs), electric fuel pump and regulator with gauge (Holley blue pump). THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW: Windshield has crack in top right corner; has original radio - does not work; small crack in dash; passenger side whisker on inside of window needs to be replaced (yr 1 sent the wrong one - others are new). I built this truck to pull my race-car and the gold paint is the same color as my car. I've successfully driven this truck on 1k mile trips while towing my car up big grades out-pulling diesels. I'm very sad see this go but have to consolidate trucks/toys. This truck was not meant to be a concourse restoration. I wanted it to be reliable, sound good, look great and go anywhere - which it does - without a $500/mo truck pmt. This truck was worked hard at some point as there are dents inside the bed (see pics), but whoever owned this maintained the truck very well before I got it (brakes/fluids/etc). The front end does not weave and bounce all over the road. Feel free to ask me anything, happy to provide more information. I also have the truck posted on YouTube so you can hear and see more of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jiXksY53FZ8&feature=youtube_gdata_player (Truck will be sold as-is, no refunds, returns or guarantees. Buyer responsible for shipping/pick-up after payment has been received.)On Feb-14-12 at 18:24:10 PST, seller added the following information: THINGS I FORGOT TO MENTION: I replaced the heater temperature control valve in engine compartment; also, I replaced heater cable wire for the heater temp control valve and the heater/defrost door wire. With the sale of the vehicle I will include a windshield weather-strip and the cord that is placed in the center of it that I had already purchased for it. Motor has a mini-high torque starter.
