1985 Mercedes Benz 300CD For Sale We are selling our beautiful 1985 Mercedes 300CD as our three young children have outgrown it. It has been well maintained and runs extremely well. The fuel mileage has been great for our driving needs, averaging over 25 miles per gallon during highway and city travel. The body color is black, but we found out it was repainted from its original white color, and the interior is brown. The engine runs extremely strong and the exterior is in very good condition. The car has been garaged throughout most of its life and it shows with very little evidence of rust. The interior is very clean and the seats, dashboard, and carpeting are in very good condition. We recently installed a new Sony AM/FM/CD stereo radio. The BF Goodrich tires are in very good condition and have over 75% tread life. This model year was the last of the W123 series and the turbo diesel coupe is a very reliable, strong-performing vehicle that delivers excellent fuel mileage. The low miles on this car of only 137,100 miles, at time of this listing, bodes well for a vehicle approaching 27 years old. With continued proper maintenance, this vehicle should runs for another 300,000 plus miles and provide the next owner a fun and economical vehicle to enjoy for many years.
