Here is a super clean little 39 Chevy coupe that has been kept indoors all of it's life. This old car hasn't seen any abuse, it's been well taken care of and maintained regular. The body and fenders are straight and rust free steel from bottom to top, no patch panels. The glass is clear as new, the windows go down and up very easy. The doors close perfect, the hinges are tight, the door seals have been replaced, the interior has been recovered with the original mohair type material and has no stains, the headliner has been replaced and fits nice and tight. The running board rubber mats are excellent condition. The dash and guage cluster are as nice as you'll find and are the original paint, the steering wheel is original with no cracks from extreme sunlight, or heat, the knobs on the dash are perfect and are the original ones. All gauges and lights work on this car, the heater and wipers work great. The chrome bumpers, bumper guards and grille are in show condition. The chrome door handles are show quality as well. The motor has been rebuilt, starts right up and runs perfect. The steering componets are tight, and steers very easy The exhaust is solid from front to rear and is quiet. The car drives straight and stops straight. The brakes have been redone all the way around. I had visions of building a street rod, but can't make myself cut up a perfectly good antique car. There are very few survivor coupe's like this one anywhere in the country. This is a car you can get in and drive anywhere. The battery, tires, brakes, lights and all other mechanics are road worthy. I am losing my storage at the end of March, the car is being stored in the back of my friends antique store at the present time. The old car drives and rides smooth, no rattles of any kind.
