Up for sale is my 1986 Chevy Silverado K10 4x4 in excellent condition. I have owned this pickup for almost two years now and have enjoyed every minute of it. The pickup is a blast to drive and catches eyes wherever you go. The truck has the original 5.0 liter with 4 speed automatic w/overdrive; it has 114,000 miles on it (all stock drive train). It also has the upgraded factory 3.73 gears with posi lock differentials. The pickup has every option you can order from the factory, plus some original dealer options like the bed rails and floor mats. Some factory options are Air Condition, Power Windows, Power Locks, Cruise Control, Front Disk Brakes, Power Steering and Premium Cloth Interior. As far as aftermarket upgrades, I have done a lot to the pickup. Here are all the upgrades. . . - Brand new rough country 4in lift (but actually gained 6 inches, not including the lift of the 36 inch tires. - New Shocks - Mickey Thompson classic rims - 36x14.5x15 tires (tread is getting low, will need to be replaced this year) - New 36 inch Mickey Thompson Baja spare - Rhino custom chrome triple roll bar - 2 KC offroad lights. - Rubber bed mat - Dual exhaust with brand new high performance cat and muffler - New trim all around the truck - New rear window - New trim around windshield Then I went all out on the stereo system, there is not a single piece of stock equipment remaining. Every component I used was the best of the best, here's the list... - Alpine CDA-105 deck - 2 12" JL subs that can handle anything you can throw at them - 2 6x9 Kicker 3 way speaker - 2 5 1/8" Polk Pb 2 way speaker in custom fiberglass kicker panel boxes - 2 1.5 inch high quality tweeters - Polk 880 amp -- dedicated to the subs - Clarion amp -- went with a 1998 model for the speakers (one of the best amps ever built) - Stinger 1 farad cap, with digital display The sound system is amazing, it's super loud and clear. If you open the doors and stand a block away, it sounds like a full on concert (great for tailgating). You will have to hear it to believe it! The truck has been amazing, but here are the downsides. . . 1) Tires are looking a little rough up close, but still have some life in them. 2) There's a spot on the hood where the original owner spilled brake fluid, and the paint wore off. Luckily the truck sits pretty high, so it’s hardly noticeable. Otherwise, the paint is original; it has a few minor scratches and dings, but still looks great for its age. 3) The engine smokes a bit when it first started, but seems to be fine when it warms up. The good news is it doesn’t burn any oil, per checking the dipstick. I've had everything inspected on the truck this last year, and since then have done a tune up on the engine, replaced a bunch of sensors under the hood, new driver side gas tank, the A/C has been converted to the new gas, and a gauges have been replaced. I have receipts for everything, along with a bunch of the original paperwork from the factory like build sheets and things like that.. Overall this is an amazing truck, and I don't think you'll be disappointed. It gets attention were ever you go!
