The seal needs to be replaced and I have not done so (but I constantly check the fluid level). - The paint job on the body and rims was done with Rustoleum Spray Paint (although the under carriage of all body parts was painted with POR-15). - There are minor dings, scratches, and rough patches throughout the body. - The new water temperature gauge that came in the aftermarket cluster is not accurate. It reads lower than the actual engine temperature. The engine temp stays at a consistent 165 degrees, while the gauge reads 120 degrees. So, the truck isn’t perfect, but it’s 100% mechanically sound and fully road worthy (I drive it once a week around the block). I just finished the restoration. It has a clear title in my name and I have all the receipts for the parts I bought and the work I had done. Also included is the owner’s manual, two shop manuals (the 1952 shop manual for the engine, and the 1946 shop manual for everything else), and extra parts including the original distributor and another ’52 engine head (un-restored). The truck needs a good home and I no longer have room for it. I can keep it garaged up to a week after purchase. Buy it as a completed truck or give it your own personal touch with a new paint job, etc. It is still very customizable.
