1981 BMW 323i E21 This is a very clean 31 year old car. It does hawever have a few signs of its age(see pictures) with some cosmetic rust. The major areas for rust concerns - the trunk, door sills and floor pan do not. It has a four speed manual tranny and yes I do have the matching 4th wheel. The tires are brand new Dunlops. Last year I spent over $500 taking it out of 'Non Op'. I have never smogged the vehicle. I was intending on restoring it but I have lost the energy and time to do so. I purchsed the car for over $5k some 6/7 years ago. The economy was good back then....right? My loss will be your gain - such as life ! She starts right up and runs very strong. This will be a great 323i project for the winner! I do have this vehicle up for sale locally and will reserve the right to close the auction. The car is being sold 'as is' with no return or warenty. I expect a payment of $500.00 at close of auction. The buyer is responsible for pick up at a timely manner. The remaining purchase cost to be paid at that time. She starts right up and still runs strong. The little things I discovered; 1) The right headlamp is out 2) The hazard warning switch is broken and activates all turn signals when turning on the left and right turn indicator. That part cost about $30.00 3) The handle to the sunrfoof is broken but the sunroof is fully operational 4) I further inspected the car for rust and no new concerns. The pictures already posted show the two areas that will need some work 5) The dash is cracked and I have all of the parts for the consoul I just added a picture of the Fed. and DOT compliance sticker.
