2003 Mercedes Benz SL500 Designo Launch edition, Special designo desert sand paint color with Black leather interior. 134,000 miles. Loaded with options. Retractable Hardtop, Heated / Ventilated / Pulsating seats, Navigation, Xenon lights, Suede Head-liner, Almost new Michelin Pilot tires. The car runs and drives very strong, however the body was caught in a severe hail storm. The hood, roof and trunk lid have encountered significant hail dings. The fenders/quarter panel/doors also have hail damage though not as bad and may be fixed with paintlet dent removal. The Top worked when we aquired the car, However the last couple attempts at retracting the hardtop failed, Aux. battery needs replacing, glove box latch is broken, left tail light has a hole, grill is cracked and there is a very faint minor lifter tap from one side that may go away with a fresh oil change. The car runs and drives great, no shaking or vibrating at low or high speeds. the front end and suspension feel very tight. Great project for a Body/collision person, or replace the panels and save thousands. The winning bidder will own one of the cheapest R230 SL500 Mercedes on the market.
