1994 CHEVY SUBURBAN 6.5L TURBO DIESEL 4x4 AUTOMATIC Up for auction is a super sharp 4x4 Suburban 2500. Powered by a 6.5L Turbo Diesel, overdrive automatic transmission and 4x4 drivetrain allows this 8 seater to take you almost anywhere. The interior on this Suburban is about as close to mint as you can get in a 1994. No tears or burns or wear noted. It's got extras like third row seating and rear temperature controls. Also comes with a full size spare and a functional roof rack. The dash is not cracked or faded. No wear or stains noted on the carpeting or seats. The paint is very shiny and body imperfections are minimal. Way above average for a 1994. This 2500 Chevy drives great, steering is tight, tracks straight and stops like it should. The transmission shifts as it should into every gear. The engine has excellent oil pressure and plenty of power. With only 148k miles, this diesel has a long way to go. The tires are excellent and so is the glass. It has power windows and locks. The exhaust system is new. Mechanically, the Suburban is an excellent drive. Great for family trips or pulling your camper or boat. I did notice the rear barn door latch is not functionIng. Upon removing the back door panel I could see the lever connecting the door handle to the latch was disconnected. I was able to open the door from the inside by hand. The cruise control did not work. The service light is on as seen in the pics. Like many diesels this one will produce white smoke from a cold startup that will not be present when it warms for a few minutes. This only appears from a cold start. I noticed some weeping from the fuel/water separator valve line shown in pic. The AC was not tested but the heat works great. The stereo works great. You can tell by the pics, this Suburban was well taken care of. And it's no doubt, these diesel 4x4's were very expensive when new.
