This is a 1 Owner vehicle that was originally purchased back in 1967 at Gulf Stream Motors which is now called Mercedes-Benz of Palm Beach. This Mercedes 250SE Coupe has always been garaged here in South Florida and was meticulously maintained. We have over 30 years of service records from 1967 till the late 1990's. This car was mostly serviced at the Mercedes-Benz dealer in Palm Beach or at Mercedes authorized service centers. A few years ago a complete cosmetic restoration was started. During The restoration Process, The car was stripped down to the bare metal and given a high quality repaint in its Original color. All the trims, door panels chrome pieces, seats, Front Windshield and Rear window were removed. Door Jams were repainted and Engine Compartment was Cleaned up. Unfortunately the owner ran into some financial difficulties and consequently had to put the restoration on hold in hopes to finish the restoration later. As his financial situation did not improve he realized that he would not be able to complete the restoration and sadly decided to sell it. According to the previous owner this Mercedes 250SE was driving smoothly. While the car was covered and stored inside an air conditioned warehouse, the previous owner would start the engine regularly until about 11 months ago. We have not attempted to make it run but with a new battery we assume that after a complete service that it should start . This car seems to be 98% complete and ready to be finished New floor in driver's side was welded. "Paint is in excellent condition" "The seats are new" "The Headliner is new" "The door panels are new" "New carpet set". Wood will have to be redone and is not complete. All the Glass is in good condition. Included in this sale are the original owner's manual, Over 120 service maintenance and parts receipts, Original Jack.
