2001 BMW 740i Sport w/M Package NO RESERVE The last year of the iconic 7 series design with the squared off rear end. A true sports sedan, this vehicle still can hold its own with the luxury sports sedans of today. It was the flagship model in the BMW inventory. This particular example is equipped with the most desired option, the Sports Package. A $2,800 add-on (see the original sticker window picture below). It also has heated front seats. Think about it; in 2001 this car had a sticker price of $68,470!! It is being offered today at less than 15% of the original amount, and many of the components are new. The car has just had a new set of Dunlap Direzza tires installed along with a fresh oil change and radiator flush. The battery is also new. The transmission was tested and found to be working flawlessly. All the electronics work as they should. You will not have to worry about burnt out pixels in the instrument pod because it was refurbished to new. The radio and trunk mounted cd changer work perfectly. The navigation unit works, but does not have a current nav disk. They don't update them anymore, so the latest edition is from 2005, not very current. This car is ready to give its new owner many miles of spirited driving or just bulevard cruising. I would say that the interior is a 9.5 out of ten, and the same goes for the mechanical condition. The few shortcomings are that there are numerous small chips on the hood and front air dam. Nothing that detracts from the performance of the vehicle, but the paint is not perfect. However, there are no dents anywhere. Also, the mirror portion of the outside rearview mirrors could be replaced. (see pictures) I try to describe the vehicle as best as possible, but I cannot know the entire history of every vehicle that I sell.
