FOR DIESEL LOVERS ONLY. A great car, in good, FUNCTIONAL running condition. However, will not be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. If you know how to work on these and have the time, it's a great deal. However, will need some work to get it in tip-top shape. (We would love to do the work ourselves, but it will be several more years before we could do that, so figure time to let it go.) Has a new battery (Dec 2011). Body in OK shape. But would benefit from quick paint job. Front bumper chrome peeling, and bent a bit from small fender bender. Side piece missing from door. Overall the car starts up and runs. However, sometimes it does not turn off right away. We have researched this and believe it is probably vacuum leak. The AC also is presently not working. Car has been in California for all of its existence as best as we can tell. We have owned for twelve years, and purchased from seller in Pacific Palisades. So no rust or anything like that. Interior in OK condition. Has the third bench seat. Back hatch, needs support to stay open. There is a short somewhere in the dash that causes the needles on the dials to bobble at times. Windows work fine. A few panels are a bit warped or wrinkled. Overhead panel in back coming away from top. Odometer stopped working around 155,000 miles. We are estimating the car has 175,000 miles. Glove compartment latch broken. We have not been driving the car regularly for a few years. But it is always faithful. Plus we just put a new battery in, so it is good to go.
