1976 Chevrolet Short Bed Step Side Cheyenne Package Heavy Duty Chassis 454 engine with turbo 400 Cruise Control Tilt Wheel Cargo Lamp Am/Fm Radio Special Paint Sliding Rear Window Air Conditioning Heavy front Sway Bar Auxiliary Fuel Tank Glide out Spare tire Clock Chrome grill Trailing Special This was a recent “Barn Find” It belonged to a guy that special ordered it new in 1976 to use as his personal truck in his business, when he retired a few years ago, he put all his equipment inside his building and closed the door. I have cleaned it up, checked it over and driven it a bit. I did a video and posted it as Road Testing the Yellow 1976 Chevy pickup. I do not know if the odometer has rolled over. I was told that the truck was repainted one time in the correct special order yellow color. The truck runs great and is a clean dry California Truck. I do not see ANY rust in the floors rockers or bottom of the cab. Title is clear. It is NOT Currently Registered and is NOT in Planned Non-Op Status with California DMV. He did not place any of his vehicles in Planned Non-op Status. If you plan to register the truck in California, I have included the VIN for you to call DMV to ask about the fees.
