You are bidding on a 1976 VW Beetle Has been in the Family since 1987 Started restoring but got to busy to finish. The interior of the VW is all new door panels, front seats, rear seat, carpet. We also rebuilt the motor, put in a bigger cam, changed carburator configuration, starter, coil. the motor was a 1600cc, with the changes it more like 1675cc. It's got a little more than normal get up and go in her. Just don't have time to finish. The rust you see is surface rust, hit it with a sander and its pretty much gone. Unlike the metals of today. I also have a box of Hot VW magazines, a chiltons VW manual, and another VW manual that goes with it. The nice thing is these vehicles are pretty inexpensive to restore, the parts are cheap and if you can run a wrench, you can pretty much work on a VW.
