Up for bid is a very nice 1988 Chevy Silverado Suburban 2500 4x4. It has 139,000 miles on it. In great shape! It has never been modified in any way. It was upgraded from the factory with the Silverado package- Power Windows, locks, front and rear AC, tilt wheel, carpet floors, tow hitch, etc. It is in really nice shape inside and out! Was repainted about 5 years ago. Nearly new highway tires! New exhaust pipe. Last year It had $975.92 worth of service which included new radiator, new refrigerant (AC works), and all fluids changed. $433.70 was just in labor. This Suburban has been well taken care of. I was told it was in the previous owner’s family its whole life. I also have the original window sticker. It was over $24,000 new in 1988! The motor is the original 5.7L 350 EFI, and transmission is a very good shifting Turbo 400. Has manual hubs and transfer case. ¾ ton factory axles with 3:73 gears. Rear has a factory locking differential. Driving this Suburban is very nice. It drives down the road flawless. Alignment is perfect, very quiet inside. Everything is tight, steering wheel turns easy. All dash lights work along with all the gauges. Has intermitted wipers as well. Has a strong heater and defrost. It seats 6 people comfortable, with a ton of storage in the back. It is also set up for a rear seat. Have the seatbelts and brackets in floor, but no seat. Interior is flawless except a couple stains in cargo area. This Suburban was assembled in Flint, Michigan and sold new from Butler Chevrolet in Newburg, Oregon. Stock number was 38130. There are a couple issues with it. It does have a little rust on bottom of the rear barn doors (see pic) and a rust spot on each side inside the back doors (see pic) nothing terrible, just something to point out. The paint looks really nice and glossy, but has a couple runs in it (not very noticeable) and the dash has 2 cracks, rear AC motor is loud, cruise does not work. Other than that is it a really nice, never abused 1988 Chevrolet Suburban. I am posting this as a no reserve auction, final bid will win!
