1965 Caddy Coupe deVille project car. I call it a project car because it is primered and I began stripping the inside out of it (I still have all the parts that came out). The car is gutted behind the back seat. I have replaced the water pump using grade 8 bolts, and also replaced the thermostat, gaskets, hoses, belts, spark plugs, alternator, voltage regulator, assorted wires under the hood, replaced the front window motors with rebuilt ones and new master switch. I have performed regular oil changes and tranny fluid services. The body on this coupe is straight as an arrow and the doors DO NOT sag at all, and they latch solid. The hood and trunk do as well. Mileage is listed as 39k but may be 139k for all I know; the odometer only goes to 5 places. This car was my daily driver up until about 2 months ago when it became impractical for the amount of driving that I do. Compression is low in the #8 cylinder, so I would suggest trailering it to wherever you live. Honestly, that just seems like common sense to me. There was no problem starting, stopping, turning, etc when I last drove it.
