I'm selling Betsey my 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger. I purchased it October 2010 from a mechanic who was going to restore it. I have the pink slip. I put in a new carburetor 9 months ago and a new starter about 3 months ago. About 2 months ago it started giving me a problem. It starts and drives but it wont stay idle. So basically when I'm at a stop light or stop sign and I brake, the car shuts off. Doesn't seem like anything extremely major, which is why I'm not going to take it in to a mechanic and just will sell the car "as is" Once that issue is fixed, this is the perfect car for a daily driver or for someone who wants to do a full restoration project. The following are a list of things it needs... 1. Windshield wiper motor 2. Vinyl top. The roof off the car needs body work before top can be replaced 3. The gas odometer needs to be fixed 4. The AC needs a part but I don't know what exactly 5. It needs new rotors and pads 6. Door handle on driver side needs to be fixed. As of now, you must roll down the window and reach your hand over to open door7. No gas cap 8. Minor interior work that includes a carpet replacement in the front and the top of the back seat needs to be fixed.
