1967 Eleanor GT 500 ( Nice and solid Project Car) I do not have the time to finish this beautiful project. This is the one, I bought her over 10 years ago as a running/driving Gt Fastback (auto 289, wimbelton white,black interior,front disk brakes (still on car), drove it about four years and decided to put a paint job on it and instead ended up (GOING TO TOWN!) As Follows: The Body: All the hard work is done and basically needs to be finshed/Prep for paint and put back together (no surprises here) (All solid car) I had all work done by a pro sheetmetal guy, he changed just about everything and made it better than stock, a 1 piece floor, new trunk floor under/sides etc. 2 new (full) Quarters and inner (Dynacorn ones) not cheap almost a grand each. 2 new original gauge metal front fenders (to prevent future dings) you get on cheap ones, about 500 each, plus 2 door skins, (just about everything) so the car will be nice and laser straight for paint with as little filler as possible. The lines and the fitment are all great the doors and trunk all close like they should (No Sags) nice and tight as possible and we also allowed for final weatherstrip gaps. I opted not to prime the car just to show that the car is all metal with nothing hidden,the surface rust in pics is a little condisation, I tapped a spot for two seconds and it comes right off, car has always been stored in dry garage. The car is also (CUSTOM MINI TUBBED) (done right) as shown in pics with stock custom made wheelwell extentions to except a 17x11 Tire in the rear with custom steel tubbing welded to cool the rear brakes w/little volocity fins welded in side to stir up some turbulance for top braking ( Not those cheap cloth ones they sell), The side framerails were (BOX NOTCHED) to let the exhaust pass free,(NO CRIMPING THE PIPE). I even had the back seat frame shortened and made it to stay fuctional (most people eliminate it.) also the stock back seat interior panels were used when all this was done so the stock interior should go back in without to much trouble. (lots of thought went into this car.) The Body Kit : Is a certified Kit (Heavy Fiberglass, Not flimsey) for the movie from the original molds of Eleanor and has a certificate of athenticity from Cienima Vehicals Inc. in California registered to the cars vin number. The kit was over 5 grand shipped. It included the hood,flares,side skirts,front nose,upper/lower scoops,billet grill etc. The nose is already on the car bolted on top and clamped on bottom ready in position ready to be drilled, everything else has also been fitted but will need a final tweak (of course) (not much) and to be epoxy glued and screwed. The tail light panel was made to fit over that steel stock frame you see in pics, (it fits like a glove) the steel one was custom placed a couple of inches in to act as a support for the talights and panel. (like I said nothing Flimsey here). Also, with the car the car the stock parts (that were on the car) as follows: The power steering rack,pump, column, front & rear springs, gas tank, master cyl/booster, heater box, Dashboard w/gauges, stock wire harness (removed carefully), heater controls, two black buckets complete (nice), backseatcover (will need to be fitted on custom recut frame) back seat panels, the stainless trim for winshield, doors, etc. Backglass (nice) including vent windows complete w/trim (nice) (except windsheild broke during removal). Boxes of bolts for car, figure I saved everything from a already nice car that I could without ripping or breaking it during breakdown and whatever I have is included with this sale thats not already listed.(Car is pretty complete).Some of the new parts I have include Gt 500 Wood Steering wheel 500 bucks (Tony Branda) 500, Gt 500 Trunklid w/wing (Tony Branda) 500 Bucks (already on car), two new bumpers,bottom rear valance. I could go all day with costs on this car. (A LABOR OF LOVE) no expense was spared I must have over 30 already into this ride to make it truly unique in theend result. The welding and fitment were endless on this car to get it right. This is the ride for the right person. Car has a clean NYS title/reg. No Motor or Trans (wasn't sure which way to go) the new floor pan is set-up for manuel trans. All parts can be put in for shipping,and the front wheels are rigged together and can be steered fairly easy for transport.
