1964 Jaguar E type series 1 · This 1964 Jaguar has been fitted with a 1965 E type 4.2 liter engine and a syncro transmission instead of the original 3.8 non syncro transmission (although this is not original it is much more useable) · Rust free California car · The car was restored about 8 -9 years ago and it still looks great! · Approximately 80,000 or 90,000 was spent on the restoration · Very extensive mechanical work was done on this car so it could be used in rallies etc.. The car has been driven from California to Colorado and back. · I have known about this car and its owners for the past 11 or 12 years. My friends wife bought it for his 50th birthday 3 years ago and it has been driven 3 or 4 times a week since.. It has been a very dependable Jaguar it always starts!!! Only minor services have been needed since he purchased it… · There are a few small imperfections in the paint and some small dings on the rear deck lid (see pictures) Very minor!!.
