This wagon is a 1-owner car, bought new at the Saturn dealer in 96 and traded in at the Chevy dealer at the beginning of this month. It was owned by one couple that clearly took car of it from the day they bought it. This car is one of the best condition Saturns I've ever purchased and it runs like a champ. This SW2 has the reliable, fuel efficient 1.9L Twin Cam 4 cylinder engine and automatic transmission. All the mechanicals appear to be in great shape. The engine fires up and runs like it should. This 4 cylinder engine has enough power and gets better than 35 mpg on the highway. The exhaust is a little noisy. The transmission shifts smoothly. The suspension is tight: no rattles, clunking, shakes, or pulling. The ABS brakes stop straight and true. The exterior of this Saturn is in above average shape for age and mileage. The pewter grey paint is in very good condition. It has some of the usual clear coat issues above the doors that all older Saturns get, but is not all scratched up. There are no cracks in the bumpers. The 15" alloy wheels are in very nice condition and have a full set of matching center caps. The wheels are wrapped in Hankook all-season tires with good tread. The interior of this wagon is also in above average condition. Saturns were not known for their high quality, long lasting interiors, so the excellent condition of this one speaks to the care that was given to this car. The seats are in excellent condition, not torn or badly stained and have no burn-holes. The carpets are in similarly good condition. As is the case with all S-Series Saturns, the headliner has been repaired after it started to fall. There is a full set of matching Saturn floor mats. This car even has the original cargo cover and net! I've never seen a Saturn that still had them. The rear seats fold flat to give this car a surprising amount of cargo space for such a compact wagon. This car had the power options package: power windows, power locks, and power mirror. All 4 power windows work as the should, as does the power mirror. The power locks do not work, however the manual locks still function as they should, so the car can be locked. The AM/FM radio with graphic equalizer was the high end option for the car and still sounds good. Heat, A/C, and the blower fan all work as they should in all positions to keep the car warm or cold. This Saturn is equipped with the Saturn Safety Package which includes ABS brakes, traction control, and driver & passenger air bags. There are current PA emissions and safety inspection stickers good through 8-12.
