This truck was purchased 1969 for a farm truck with a grain box on it. In the early 1970's the rearend went out and was replaced with a 1949 chevrolet truck rearend. The frame was stretched and a new original motor was installed in the 1970's. It was used until the 1973 when it was put into semiretirement. After this it was used to haul seed around the farm and then in the early 2000 it was used to haul water to the cows. In the last few years the grain box was removed and a fith wheel hitch with old style trailer connector for the trailer brakes was installed. I was used for pulling a flat bed hay trailer around the ranch. In the 2000's the gas tank had some rust so a gas tank coating was applied to help with flooding issues. Due to brake cylinder in the rearend being bad the back brakes are not working. The front brakes work good. All glass in good shape except front window has a small crack. The only rust is on the doors interior where the paint has come off. It has tight steering and manual brakes. The only trouble it has given the ranch is some flooding and the back brakes don't work. It still can be ran and drove around. This would be an easier restoration project due to the good maintainence and ran occasionally Some mouse damage but seat covering in good shape for its age.
