Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1993 300ZX Twin Turbo. I bought it in June of 2011, I enjoyed driving it, but I'm looking to upgrade to something faster. The car is Oxford Gray, and the cloth interior is also gray with blue accents, as you will also see on the boot stitching, guage backlights, and headunit lighting. This Z is a major head turner; I've gotten many compliments on the streets from the beautiful rumble of the engine, to the elegance of the Z's body style. The exterior is all OEM, but internally the previous owner has done some upgrades including: -Z1 Hard Pipes -Twin SSQV HKS Blow Off Valves (flanged to hard-pipes) -JWT Pop Charger Intake (Stage 3) -*Brand New* K&N Air Filter -Steve Millen (Stillen Stage 3) ECU -HKS Hi-Power Exhaust (Stage 3) -NGK Plugs There are other upgrades that I'm probably just forgetting, but those are the ones off the top of my head. The car is boosting 13psi out of the twin turbos. However, just like every other Z out there, this one has some things to be dealt with. Firstly, the knock sensor needs to be re-wired (harness or wiring problem), and as a result of the code 34 (knock sensor code), it is running safety boost and won't drive at over 5000 rpm's to protect the engine, and upon restoration of the knock sensor, it will go back up to it's tuned rev limit of 7450 (which is also a 2 step launch controller). Another minor problem is that the right turbo gasket needs to be replaced (not a very big deal), as a result it's slightly leaking oil. Apart from that, there are some minor blemishes body-wise on the car (I took specific pictures of the blemishes). Apart from these things however, you've got yourself a prestine, 400hp Z which has been built to at-most perfection, and ride's like an absolute dream. The CarFax will pull up that it has an odometer problem; this is because the previous owner replaced the cluster to incorporate blue led backlights, as well as silver clusters. I have verification of milage, and it is approximately 128k, I'll give the exact numbers upon sale. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask! And upon sale, if the car goes for more than $6000, I will include 3 aftermarket guages, a guage cluster, a TRE Performance fuel pump, a replacement OEM fog light, a new knock sensor, Bosch Platinum +2 plugs, replacement HID bulbs, and a dual boxed Visonek subwoofer. On Jan-31-12 at 17:17:18 PST, seller added the following information: Big Announcement! I just had the leak inspected and it turns out it's just an oil line to the turbo that's leaking, it just needs a new gasket and is completely accessable from the bottom side. I will put up some pictures of the undercarriage on the photobucket link. Once again, I repeat, THE TURBO SEAL IS NOT LEAKING, IT'S A SMALL OIL LINE GASKET LEAK.On Feb-03-12 at 12:04:24 PST, seller added the following information: I'd just like to remind everyone that I am a private party seller, and that the car is sold as-is. I reassure you however with the replacement of the knock sensor that everything will work just fine. Deposit is due immediately after purchase within 72 hours, and full payment within 7 days.
