Would you like a virtual test drive? I received an email from ebay telling me that i needed to imbed the video. So, this is my best attempt at complying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1XReo6CTTk If this doesnt work, email me and I will send it to you. The following best describes this Rover. I am not a dealer. I am an outdoorsman, and a lover of unique vehicles. This is definitely unique and you will get looks, gawks and comments everywhere you go. This is a 4 cylinder diesel (non-turbo) that starts and runs smoothly even in the coldest of weather. The glow plugs come equipped and allow for hassle free, dependable starting. My Defender drives straight and true with no play in the steering wheel. It shifts smoothly in all -5- gears. Recently, I replaced the fuel pump and the front wheel cylinders. I have also added Discovery rims, and a full size spare, complete with matching 17" Land Rover Discovery rim. The interior is a 7 of 10. There is a rip in the vinyl of the middle rear seat. There is a stain on the fron passenger seat. The vehicle is rust free EXCEPT for one hole in the passenger floorboard that is pictured in the attached photos. The undercarriage is virtually rust free. She leaks a bit of oil if left to sit without driving. I am told by other owners this is typical. The carpet is brand new and covers the hole, aesthetically and functionally. The brakes are tight and stop the Defender safely, and, quickly. Suprisingly, you can attain 20-25MPG with sensible driving. This is a diesel, and is an engine that (if cared for) will run for years to come. Quite frankly, the reason why I am selling my Defender is because I don't drive it enough. I don't need to sell the car, and thankfully (at least for now) I don't need the money. It is a commuter maybe 2 days out of the week and gets regular (daily) use during deer and waterfowl season here in Illinois. It takes up space in my 2 car garage and with the purchase of a new F-150, we now have three vehicles. Rigs like this routinely sell for $20,000+. This Defender has NO RESERVE. You can always contact me with any questions you have at (217) 816 6966 or jdavis@jackdavislaw.com. Title is clear, and, in hand. No BS, no stories, no excuses. If you want a great rig, that no one else in town will have, this is it! Shipping is on you, but I will deliver within 50 miles of Springfield, IL. Good luck, and thank you.
