Rarely driven, multi BMW household. 1.9 Liter 4 cyl. M44 series Timing CHAIN motor. I bought this car back in 2006 from private owner in N.J. with 86k on it. Didn't drive it much, in 09 at 92k miles the engine overheated due to a broken plastic cooling hose connector, blew the head gasket, still ran though. Bought a complete engine from a wrecked Z3 with approx 78k on it had it installed at the local independent BMW repair shop. During the swap I had all the failure prone parts replaced, belts, hoses, water connectors, oil seals, water pump, radiator, t-stat, etc with all OE supplier parts, have receipts. car runs good, Always BMW synthetic or Lubri Moly engine oil, Red Line synthetic trans oil and rear end fluid. Now has about 102k on it now, mostly sits, we will be moving soon, can't take em all, It's very presentable, it's not perfect, It has a couple very slight door dings, a slight scrape on the left rear wheel arch (there when I bought it) abrasions to the rear bumper cover, I was rear ended in low speed stop and go holiday traffic. there was no repair done other than snapping the bumper cover back in place. The headliner is starting to sag, shops around here charge about 75-125 to replace. The driver seat edge seam has a split. The radio display is dim at times. Sometimes the driver window is finicky, you have to hold the switch to keep it closing, otherwise it seems to sense a pinch and tries to stop upward motion. may just be tight in the track, Tires are good, as are the brakes, shocks and exhaust. It has a power sunroof, power windows and mirrors and heated seats. Factory fog lights, Automatic climate control dual zone, Safety wise it has ABS and ASC traction control systems as well as driver and pass airbags. Has the Harmon Kardon factory upgrade stereo. I mounted a factory cd player in the factory position in the trunk, it needs plugged in to the bmw dash radio, the cable is there, but at one point before me it had a diff radio and the plug was cut. I bought a new plug pigtail but never got to it, you can have the parts to complete. Has a car cover (used inside as dust cover) that goes with it. It's a nice car to drive responsive and quiet, gets great gas mileage 28-32. NO Reserve, last bid gets it, Sold as is, will work with your shipper or inspector. The front control arm bushings have been replaced in the last 10k miles. There is a very slight fluid leak from the return line (non pressure) at the power steering fluid reservoir. I tightened the clamp may need new hose A small area of rust thru is noted on the rear muffler heat shield, added picture. There are some minor corrosion spots on the other heat shields as well, non thru, There are some small scrapes on a couple of the wheels, I have additional pics available
