Take a look at this heavy duty work truck I am listing for sale for my father-in-law. He has retired from repairing autos and machinery and just doesn't need the thrck anymore. This truck is worn but still has some miles left in it. For a 1988, the paint is in fair condition with some rust as you can see in the pictures. However the body and frame are sound. The interior is worn and in fair shape for this year of vehicle. See the photo. Mechanically, this truck is in fair shape for the number of miles on it and considering it is an 88. It has a 454 V8 engine which starts easily. Uses about a Qt of oil per 1000 miles and it does leak some oil but not excessive. The millage on the truck is unknown as the speedometer has never worked since the owner bought the truck in 2001. Transmission and transfer case work fine. The front end is in need of repair. It can be driven short distances but if any buyer intends put miles on it, the front end will need to be rebuilt or as a minimum some work done on the front end. Tires are 245/70/16s and have limited millage remaining. Two spares and two rims are included with the truck.
