Up for auction is a 2002 Honda Accord EX-L with a strong V6 engine, leather interior, power moonroof, and a 6-disk CD changer. The car has just over 110k miles. It is driven daily, but I don't expect to go over 111k before auction close. The car runs and drives great.My wife and I bought this car from a local dealership about 7 years and have enjoyed it, but a growing family dictates growing cars. The car also has an aftermarket Sirius Satellite Radio system installed, but the head unit needs to be reattached. The adhesive used to mount it failed and it fell off. We just put it in the console tray and used it there. The head unit can also be removed and used in a "boom-box" type of stereo that comes with the car. The car does have some cosmetic issues. There is a large scratch on the corner of the front bumper and two dings on the rear bumper. The paint on the hood is also damaged from a friend trying to help remove spilled paint off of the hood. His technique stripped the clearcoat and the paint has degraded ever since. I got an objective quote from a local shop to repair the hood and bumpers for $800. I have not gone to the effort to get any other quotes. I figured that I would leave it up to the new owner whether to drive it as is, take it to a shop, or fix it themselves. There is another minor dent on one of the rear quarter panels, but no paint damage and it is very shallow. I think that it was there when we bought the car and my wife did not know it was there until I pointed it out a month ago. The satellite radio is the only aftermarket modification to the car. It was well-equipped from the factory. It has regular oil changes. I replaced the brakes last summer. They probably have 1,000 miles on them. The tires are a only a couple of years old. I reserve the right to end the auction early if I sell it locally. A deposit of $250 must be made within 48 hours of auction close. Final payment and vehicle pickup must be made within 7 days of auction close. Certified check or cash only. I will not accept PayPal or credit cards.
