1975 Plymouth Valiant 4-door sedan. All original 318 (5.2L) V-8. with aftermarket Edelbrock 4bl carb, intake manifold, & 14" air cleaner. Duels with turbo mufflers that sound great. I also put in a new headliner 3-Speed trans with overdrive version. Factory Hurst shifter. Power steering, power brakes, 8 and 1/4-inch rear end. Front disc brakes and anti sway bar. The only things it has that was not on the car from the factory is the air conditioning,which was installed by the dealer and it works, the 4bl carb, intake manifold, duels with turbo mufflers, new headliner, NOS front grill, and four brand new whitewall tires. I bought the car in March of this year from an ASE- certified automotive technician. He replaced the following... Rear main seal, new rod and main bearing shells, new oil pump, new front seal and timing chain and sprockets and valve cover gaskets, The engine doesn't leak at all. The master cylinder is new, as are spark plugs, fuel pump, new shocks, and starter. The car is not perfect but in good shape to be over 36 years old. Some small dents, a little of the usual MoPar fender and rear quarter panel rust. The drivers side floor panel had rusted through, so a panel made of thicker guage steel has been formed, welded in and painted. The spare tire well has surface rust only, and the entire underside of the car is solid. The interior is in very good condition with working AM radio. AC and heat work great. The original windshield has some pitting and is cracked. The black, rubber floor covering also has some cracks on the drivers side but covers nicely with floor mats. I believe the car has never been in an accident. No indication of overspray, and the paint is of the same quality and tint over the whole vehicle When I got the car it was dirty and has cleaned up VERY nicely. I enjoy buying cars and detailing them along with fixing up odds and ends. This car is ready to go another 100,000 miles and always gets looks when I take it out for a drive, and that's BEFORE they see what's under the hood and the Hurst shifter sticking out of the transmission tunnel. Most of these cars had the slant 6 and it is very rare to find a V-8 with factory Hurst shifter. If you dont believe this try finding one. Sold as is, with no warranty. all sales are final.
