Model A Hot RodThis is an original all steel body with absolutly no patch panels and very little filler. The rear fenders have been bobbed 6 inches and the tail light stands shortened 1.5 inches, the grill shell is steel as well as the custom rolled rear pan. The running boards are the commercial pickup style. The paint is decent but does have a few scratches and the filler where the visor is molded to the body has a small crack on each side and the right quarter window has a crack. Please see the pictures. The car has a shortend 49 Ford dash with Classic instruments. The speedometer is not accurate, all other gauges work fine. There is no heater,no radio, and no wipers.The bench seat is fully adjustable .The frame is a stock Model A boxed from the front x member to the back x member, it has a 3inch kick in the back. The front end is an original dropped 32 Ford axel with a Posies superslide spring and split original wish bones. It has new king pins and 40 Ford spindles and drum brakes all rebuilt. It has Pete and Jake shocks and a Speedway panhard bar and a Vega crossteer. The rearend is an 8inch Ford with new 3.55 gears and new brakes suspended by a shortend 40 Ford spring hung behind the rear end and Speedway ladder bars and a Speedway panhard bar.The engine is a 1951 Ford 8ba out of a car it has been converted to the pickup style wide fan belts and has new Speedway water pumps.The radiator is a Walker and the car runs cool. It has a 3 carb manifold but is only running on the center carb. I do have a used set of Edelbrock heads that will need to be surfaced that will go with the car. The engine has an unkown number of miles on it but runs very well and holds 30lbs of oil pressure when running down the road. The engine shows very little oil pressure at idle but all the flathead guys say as long as the oil pressure increases when driving it is fine.The transmission is the original Ford air cooled Cruisomatic it has a reworked Lokar shifter and shifts good.The tires are new Coker bias ply wide whites 5.60 up front and 8.50 in the rear, I will accept pay pal or a cashiers checkI need a $500.00 deposit within 3 bussiness daysbuyer is responsible for any shippingplease e-mail me with any questions If you wish to converse by phone e-mail me first to set up a time.I have more pictures, including build up shotsThanks for Looking!
