This ia a 1973 Pontiac formula 400. This is no clone as the VIN proves. This is a running and driving car. The Engine, trans, exhaust and suspension were rebuilt 7+ years ago and are in very good condition. Quit a few more pony's than factory. Engine has MSD 6AL box Coil and Dist. Edelbrock 750 carb and Edelbrock intake manifold. Headers and 2 1/2 full flowmaster exhaust. 5000+ miles have been put on the car since. It mainly sits and will need a full service including fluids, belts and hoses. Everything works including Brakes lights etc. This is a very solid base for a restoration. As you see the car includes the Factory Ram air air cleaner. This is a factory air cleaner, not a re pro! The hood is uncut, not blocked off (open). The factory air cleaner can not be used with the intake manifold presently on the car. Origional color is Navajo Orange. This is a factory A/C car but does not have compressor or brackets. Factory 160 speedo, Tach, Tilt wheel, Power steering, Power disc brakes. Posi trac, 400 CI engine, 400 auto, bucket seats, console floor shift, Deluxe black interior and rear spoiler. Comes with 2 full sets of wheels. One set of Welds and another set of correct factory 15 X 7 JJ Ralley wheels that including center caps and beauty rings (no tires). This car is in need of restoration. Needs some boby work, (pictured) needs a new trunk pan, someone did a half ass patch job years ago. floors are solid. just surface rust. Needs Paint, carpet, new seat upholstery, headliner, Seal kit, dash pad and is missing the radio. Engine is not factory! It has a 1967 GTO 400. Not sure why? Engine codes, Block- 9786133 = 1967 400, Dist code- L236 = Dec-23-66, Block stamp 224026 YS, Heads- 670 = 1967 HO, Block CI cast 400. All together they make a 338 HP HO motor. only put YS stamped 400 blocks in the GTO in 67. As far as i know th rest is original. I bought this car to help out a friend. I held it for years and have no interest in finishing it, now it has to go. This is the reason for it being sold. Please Ask any and all questions prior to bidding.
