Vintage Mercedes-Benz 230 in the hottest colour of the season. Military Green was only offered to the European market so it is a rare find. This car was made and purchased in Germany and imported to Canada. We have the passport and the service record from Germany. It is in nice condition but there is body work to be done on the car and it was our intention to completely restore her but we moved and don’t have a garage to store her in. We don’t want her sitting outside for another winter as she has NEVER been winter driven. “Belinda” comes with two sets of tires. The colour matched hub-caps are in mint condition, the cream leather interior is in mint condition. She has a 2.3l engine, aluminum head and cover for the engine, original working Blaupunkt AM/FM radio, fairly new brakes (4 wheel disc brakes!!!!), newer battery (Nov ’08), new wires, new sparkplugs, new distributor cap with components done about 3000 km ago, new bulbs inside and out, new washer fluid pump and more, (I can show you the paper work). We have done everything that she needed mechanically except a carburetor tune-up and the installation of an ignition control module, (the mechanics we have consulted are divided as to whether she needs the module at all. We've attached pictures of the module for reference). Parts are readily available for her from Mercedes dealers and/or online, particularly if you have contacts in the US. The whole luxury look is perfectly finished with tinted windows. She stops traffic wherever we take her. She was appraised at $12 500.00 a few years ago (we have the certificate) but the last two winters have taken a toll on her. She also comes with the original Mercedes toolkit. The hood ornament was broken off a few weeks ago. (I’ve found several of them online). This is a beautiful, beautiful car. Eligible to be registered as a historic car, (registration and insurance are cheaper as a result) in Ontario. We've priced her a little low because we would like her to have a new garage to live in before the snow comes. We are her third owners. She has 134000 miles on her.
