Porsche Boxter 2000 --Triple black Porsche Boxter Convertible low miles (about 5300 miles per year), 5 Speed stick shift, Boxter S 18" wheels with Continental tires,(265/35/18 Rear and 225/40/18 Front) Ice Cold A/C, Power top, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Power Locks. AM/FM/CD. This car has been garage kept under a cover and the cover is included. Yes, you could buy one for less however we recommend that you do your research... many 1998-2005 Porsche Boxter and Porsche Carrera have a flaw that if not addressed can cause a catastrophic failure to the engine (which could cost $15,000 to replace) This flaw has cause by some estimates up to 25% failure rate in these engines. The intermediate shaft bearing (IMS for short) fails because of a design issue and there goes the engine. There is a company producing a high tech replacment that is internally lubricated and solves the problem. This car has full documentation from a local reputable Porsche shop (Foriegn Affairs in Deerfield Beach, FL) of the replacement of this part with the new updated IMS bearing. Other preventative work done at the same time a few hundred miles ago was the replacement of the rear main seal (RMS) which are known in these cars to leak. Also done at the same time was a full clutch replacment along with a brand new pressure plate and flywheel, synthetic oil change etc. I will be happy to show you the invoice for over $3000.00 to do this work and you can confirm everything with the shop. No used car is perfect and close inspection of this 12 year old car will reveal minor flaws. The power top is in very nice shape, the vinyl rear window is clear but does have some hazing. Everything works properly on the car. The tires are not new but have good tread. There are no cuts or tears on the interior and the dash is very nice. The sunvisors, as with most boxters have vanity mirror flaps that need replacing, a minor issue. I suggest that anyone buying any car personally inspect it prior to taking ownership. I will refund the deposit in the event you inspect the car and it is not as presented. I only want to sell a car to someone that is happy with it and wants to complete the transaction. The car is currently in an enclosed garage in the Fort Lauderdale area under a cover and is ready to go. Price does not include sales tax, title transfer, tag and administration fee
