Vehicle Detail
I bought this truck brand new in Feb. 1999. It has been pampered & cared for its entire life. It has never been damaged in any way, shape, or form. It has never been driven in the winter. Actually it has never had a snow flake on it. The only time it has been wet is when I hand wash it. I only remember getting caught in the rain with it twice. It has never even sat outside for more than a couple of days. When it is not being driven it is hand washed, dried with a shammy, put in the heated garage, connected to the battery tender, & covered up, no exceptions. I wax it once a year without fail. I am constantly teased & tormented by family and friends about how I care for my truck, all in good fun of course! My wife says she forgets we even have it because it's always "under it's blankets in the garage". The only time the seats were sat on without the seat covers is the day I drove it home. I put full length floor mats front & rear right away. The bed liner was installed in March 1999. Right after that I installed the Reese rails in the bed. The running boards, front air dam, & fog lites were installed in Dec. 1999. The oil & filter was first changed at 500 miles, then religiously changed every three thousand miles, without exception!! The only oil I have ever used is Rotella T, with Motorcraft oil filters. I installed a K&N air filter right after I got it. I put a Magnaflow 4 inch Stainless Steel full exhaust system, from the turbo back, in 2006. I bought the white door handles from Ford & installed them in 2006 also. I have never put a tuner or programmer of any kind on the truck. I only used the truck to pull my 36 foot goose neck, race car trailer to my local track every Friday night. I think it is about 22 miles one way. It has more than enough power to do what I needed. With all that said, I no longer own a race car, I have sold my race trailer a couple years ago, & the truck is not being used. I take it out & drive it here & there during the summer. It is not good for it to continue to do nothing. For this reason I have decided to try to find it a good home. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. I will respond ASAP. I have a clear & clean original title in hand. I have set a very reasonable reserve price. I will not reveal my reserve so don't ask. I have the truck listed locally and will end this auction at any time if it sells. Any & all shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. I will assist where possible. I can keep the truck at my location for a while if needed. Please talk to me about it before auction ends. We will figure something out that will work for both of us. I have bought & sold here on Ebay and am proud of my 100% rating. I plan on keeping that rating. I don't play games or B.S. people. I expect the same in return. Thank you for looking & good luck bidding. On Jan-26-12 at 06:08:04 PST, seller added the following information: I recently went to the Ford web site and did a "Build & price" for an F350. I built the new truck with the exact equipment & options as I ordered my truck in 1999. The price for a new truck just like mine is $47,905.00. That is more than $30,000.00 over what I need to have for my truck. 30 Grand less for a truck that is just as good if not better, (7.3 vs. 6.7) and only has 22,000 miles. Look at the listings for other 99's. They have over 200 - 300 thousand miles. My truck has a lot of life left for about 1/3rd the price of a new truck. The Reese goose neck plate also will go with the truck. If anybody needs specific pictures, let me know. I will get them to you ASAP. Thanks again.
