This Chevy Astro EXT van with wheelchair lift was purchased to take my grandmother to doctor appointments and outings to visit friends and family. The family bought it in 2009 and have put about 10,000 miles on it since then. It has been garage kept at my uncle's and my grandma's since it was purchased. The van shows normal signs of wear, including some sun fading of front upholstery and carpeting. There is minor corrosion on the rims (see pictures), but the body is rust free and there are no serious issues with the van that I am aware of. The tires on the van have about 3,000 miles on them and look new, i.e. the rubber "nubs" are still on the tires. I also have another set of tires for the van that I will throw in for free. They have very few miles on them. The van has been well maintained, with regular oil changes, brake pads, alignments, etc. We also purchased a new battery this winter, just in case. The van sat a lot lately and could probably use a tune-up, but is a solid runner. The wheelchair lift works well. I recently tested it by lifting two friends with a combined weight of around 400 pounds and it had no problem lifting them. There is a remote control (cabled) for the lift, and there also are switches on the lift itself. The lift is by The Braun Corporation and is an 03 series.
