THIS IS COLLECTORS CAR THAT QUALIFIES FOR CLASSIC CAR TAGS 1 OWNER CAR THAT NEVER WAS INVOLVED IN ANY ACCIDENTS PLEASE CHECK ALL 100 PICTURES WE HAVE FOR THIS CAR BELOW THE DESCRIPTION! 1986 Mercedes 190E 2.3-16 – Smoke Silver exterior, with black leather interior and with only 101000 Original miles. These cars were only offered in two different colors, Pearl Black and Smoke Silver. The Engine used in this sedan was design in collaboration with the British COSWORTH firm, whose racing engines are legendary. It is identical in principle to the engines that have won more than 100 Grand Prix races and many Indianapolis 500S. There is no visible rust on the vehicle and it is in great overall condition. It drives straight and true, accelerates and stops easily. Engine is compartment is free of any leaks. The 5 Speed manual transmission has the race layout you see in some high performance cars… 1st gear is down and to the left, leaving the simple ‘’H” pattern for the other 4 gears. Engine is great; starts fast and give you all power that you not even expect from more than 25 years old car. One most visible dent is on the rear quarter side right under the left taillight.(please see all pictures). Interior looks very good, seats, carpet dashboard and headliner door panels are all in great shape. All the power options including the Power seats, Windows, Door locks, Antenna and other options work 100%, except power sunroof. We think it just a loose cable because you can hear the motor working with the push of the button. This Benz comes with Great Panasonic MP3/CD/Radio unit. The middle lap timer gauge was replaced with extra water temperature gauge. This is Always serviced MERCEDES 190E 2.3 16V we have receipts for around 5000$ in repairs and maintenance records. Just recently it got 4 BRAND NEW ALL SEASON PIRELLI Tires, new Hydraulic clutch system, new oil and filters. Major records were done in 2002 when Timing Chain and tensioner were replaced when car had 57000 miles. As well in 2011 major service was performed with almost 1500$ spent.
