It is a 2 Owner vehicle that was originally purchased at Global Imports BMW in Georgia back in March 28th 1973, then purchased by the second owner in March 19th 1973. This BMW Comes with COMPLETE MAINTENANCE HISTORY from March 28th 1973 till December 19th 2011. We have a copy of the Original Title that was issued in 1973 as well as a copy of the Original bank note showing the number of payments and the amount that was finance when the original buyer purchased the car back in 1973. We even have the original news paper clipping from 1997 showing the car being advertised for sale by the original owner in the classified section of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. You will not find a more documented BMW 2002 then this one! The engine fires right up, idles smooth and accelerates with power. We have been driving this classic around town for the last couple of days and it runs great and handles amazingly and it is real head turner. This car is very original and has not been modified The transmission shifts smoothly. Both the engine and transmission were completely rebuilt from top to bottom. Front Brakes were replaced in December and rear brakes were serviced Has the original Dealer installed Frigiking air conditioning system that has been fully serviced and is operational (We also have the original warranty certificate from Frigiking). The tires are almost new The black interior is in near mint condition. The front and rear seats are in excellent condition as is the carpet set. The headliner is in almost new. The dash that has a small crack due to its age. There is no visible sign of rust on the undercarriage Shock towers are solid. There is a small rust hole by the right side of the round taillight. There is some paint bubbling on the passenger door . The spedometer stopped working about a year ago at 105683 miles Chrome is in great shape with absolutely NO RUST This BMW 2002 is an original and unmolested example of the timeless German sports car!
