Welcome! You're looking at a 2003 Audi TT roadster, with 1.8L turbocharged, 180hp engine and 6-speed dual-clutch "DSG" or "S-Tronic" gearbox. The car was purchased used from a dealer in South Carolina and driven approximately 10,000 miles since purchased. We enjoyed driving the car until the transmission started acting up. If it weren't so expensive to repair, we might keep it, but we're taking this opportunity to reduce our vehicle-related expenses. FEATURES:Bose Premium Sound w/ 6-disc remote changer.Stability control.ABS.Heated seats.Fog lights.Airbags both sides. CONDITION: Exterior/Appearance:Better than average for a car of this age. Car was hand-washed and waxed two weeks ago.A couple minor paint scratches on the hood and a 1" bumper rub on the front. The convertible top is intact with some marks:. The rear glass has been reglued to the top in two locations, approximately 4" total length.Rubber still sound - seals well, even in car wash.Electric top works properly.Wheels - two wheels scratched at rim but only visible up close.All accessories - tonneau cover, emergency kit, tools, complete and included.Interior/Appearance:Black leather shows normal wear, some "cracking" - lends it character.Interior cleaned and detailed by owner.All interior parts in working order.Climate control temperature knob cracked but works fine.Suspension / Tires:Tires approximately 50%, mismatched front-rear. Minor cupping one wheel.No known suspension issues.Mechanical:Timing belt replaced at 61,000 miles, good to approx. 120,000 miles.Oil, filter, lube done at 75,000 miles.Coil replacement recall performed at 75,000 miles.Engine runs well, no visible leaks or known issues.Transmission...well, this is where it gets complicated:Tiptronic and steering wheel shift buttons operate, but...Automatic shifts all gears, but...Slips on upshift, bangs into gear on downshift. Badly.Transmission may only need fluid and filter change, ORTransmission may need rebuilt or replaced.Electrical:All lights work.Sound system works fine but doesn't always come on. Sometimes requires turning off car and restarting. Intermittent.Driver information display is partially failed. Hard to read, but is showing appropriate info.Windows work well.Electric top works well, as does windscreen.Heated seats work well.Climate control works well in all modes.One keyless fob has failed - new battery won't fix it, but the mechanical key works fine.
