Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1971 (manufacture date 1/71) Honda CB350. This bike comes with an open, clear Colorado title. This bike has 14,907 miles on the odometer. This bike has the original gold paint. I sprayed carb cleaner in the carbs and the bike started up and ran but will not idle, it needs the carbs cleaned and a general tune up. All of the signals and lights work as does the horn. The tires may be the originals and have some checking on the sidewalls. The chrome is pretty decent on the entire bike, not perfect but not all rusted either. The front and rear fenders both have some dings/dents. There is some acid staining on the right pipe and the rear wheel has some road gunk on it, I spent about 5 minutes on one spot and it comes off so it should clean up nicely. The paint on the tank is in the best condition but the top has the typical fading. The side covers and head light bucket are also faded. The left side cover and the headlight bucket both have cracks in them as shown in the photos. Both side covers have the original emblems in place. The original seat has a few splits in the cover but the pan and foam are good. The gauge faces are clear and the gauges are in pretty good shape. The inside of the tank is very clean as shown in the photo. I believe that the exhaust is an aftermarket set making it the only thing I can see thats not original to the bike. Overall this is a nice bike and with a little carb work could be ridden as is or used as a great platform for a total restoration or cafe project, there is alot of potential here. These unmolested bikes are becoming very hard to come by so don't miss your opportunity to own this great classic bike. I require a $250 deposit through paypal at auction end to hold the bike. The balance of the payment can be made through paypal, postal money order or wire transfer into my business account. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and at buyers expense. I will agree to store the bike for (2) weeks until shipping arrangements can be made. If you need more time to make arrangements for collection I can store the bike for $100/month. I will not release the bike to your shipper if you owe for storage fees. Overseas buyers please get your shipper lined up before you purchase, I cannot deliver to a shipping terminal. I have tried to give an honest assessment of the bike as I see it but I am sure there are things that I have overlooked, its not intentional. Please ask questions if you need to before you purchase, I am happy to help in any way I can. I will send the title with your shipper unless you specify otherwise, if you want it sent by certified mail I will do so but you will have to pay the postal fees. Thank you and good luck.
