1966 Mercury Cyclone convertible H code 390 car only 1,305 made. The car came from California about 10 years ago. The frame, floors and inner fender wells are pretty decent, the trunk floor has minor rust. The car will need work on both quarters, lower fenders and lower doors. The front clip appears to have been replaced at some point due to a minor front end collision. The bumpers and grille seem pretty straight. I checked the casting numbers on the block and they come up 1966 Mercury so im assuming it is the original motor. The interior will obviousy need a going over but it still has all the important stuff like the steering wheel, seats. console. It has factory power steering and brakes. Years ago someone pulled the motor and trans to rebuild them. They never got around to doing so so they set it back in for transport and never hooked it up. I have no idea of the condition of the motor or trans, I was told it drove into the garage where it was pulled out. The rear appears to be the original 9 inch (non posi) The power top frame is in the car and looks complete it will need a new top and window though. It will need a windshield and the 2 small vent windows due to kids being kids, the rest of the side glass is ok and they roll up and down. I have some boxes of extra parts that will come with the car, extra headlight hardware, misc. chrome, gauge clusters, shifter,hubcaps, etc. Great project or donor to turn your Comet into a Cyclone. Throw it together and have fun, The new trend is Rat Muscle so this will fit right in. Low Reserve GOOD LUCK!!!
