This is the most desireable year for Volvo 240 wagons,because it is the last year for this body style and it has antilock brakes and this one is a very rare 5 speed.Fresh new car trade and the body is in much better than average condition.The paint is in very good shape and overall condition is very good for the year.The rear bumper moulding is missing in the pictures,you will get one with the car when you purchase it.The seats are splittind on the seams like they all do.The car is very complete and unmolested.It runs and drives,but the clutch slips and the exhuast is noisy.The rear of the exhaust looks fairly new.It has 4 very good winter tires.Should run and drive home locally with no problems,and the gas gauge even works.You will do some work to this car,but these 5 speed 240 wagons are simple cars to fix.Please do not expect a perfect car,but it is complete and will make a nice one with not too much effort.The miles on this car are true mileage unknown,because the speedometer works,but the odometer does not.A much better than average one,,,NOT a rusty piece of junk!!!!THIS IS A NO RESRVE AUCTION...HIGH BIDDER OWNS IT!!!We specialize in unique Volvos,and these 240 wagons in this price range are very hard to find in this complete and unmolested shape.This one has another 193k mi left!!!Please feel free to come look ,drive and see before you bid,and you can even look at it on a lift!!!!Please call if i can answer any questions about this one or any of our others BOB GOODMAN @ 781 294 7970..This is the only 240 we have at present...i wish we could find more like this one!!!!
