No Reserve. This is an original and very straight 1962 Mercury Comet Custom 2 Door Sedan. It is in excellent condition overall. Clean pink slip California title in hand and it's registered until 12-2012. Great driver. Needs nothing to drive away safely. Has completely rebuilt newer brakes, fully rebuilt suspension (whole front end), rebuilt transmission, and more. Has new original style Black and White upholstery. Lights work and it runs and drives safe and smooth with tight steering. Overall the bright work is excellent and it retains all the factory trim. Nearly rust free. The paint is nice and shiny black, NO BONDO. All original body. Shows some age but it is very respectable. Has the original keys, owners manual, jack, and more. For a 50 year old car this is in outstanding condition. It is not perfect. It is not show or flawless. This classic Comet is a great, safe, registered, and reliable driver with no excuses. Has the optional (larger) Original inline 6 cylinder 170ci motor. 3 speed on the column manual transmission. These are very light weight (around 2500 lbs) and the steering is light and easy. A fun car to drive. The high book value on the Custom model Comet is nearly the same as the S22. High book is about $15k and that is what they bring when mint.
