Nevertheless, it began Buick's quest for power and even lended its name to several Buick engines of the mid sixties. The Wildcat received all new styling for 1965. The car you see here is a Wildcat "445" which refers to the 401 CID V8 that produces a peak torque rating of 445 ft·lb. Horsepower is a strong 325HP.We believe this to be a 3 owner car. As the story goes, a little old lady purchased the car new in Miami and used it to get groceries, go to church etc. When not in use it sat in her garage. The second owner kept the car for a dozen years, sold it and eventually bought it back from the third owner! The interior, other than the new carpet, appears to be original and is in excellent condition for it's age. There are no cracks in the dash. The interior lights work!
