NOTE: this car has been re-listed due to a non-pay bidder. If you can not afford to pay for this car, do not bid on it. This 1977 Celica ST was restored previously. It has been repainted the original Orange with very dark Midnight Blue stripes. The restoration was done about 6 years ago and the paint still looks very good. the weather strips were replaced, the seats were re upholstered, and door panels replaced. The chrome and stainless moldings look new. The PROBLEM is the car no longer runs. My Father sold the car to someone who did not take care of it, and new nothing about owning a vintage import. The Exhaust manifold studs have all been pulled out of the engine, (over tightened) . The gas tank was removed, ( I don't know why) and is still in trunk. It looks very clean inside so maybe he was attempting to replace the sending unit. The car has minor cosmetic damage all around, tail lights, parking lights, both outside rear view mirrors. Can't imagine why he couldn't park a small car like this. The car was returned to my father and has been stored for the last 2 years. I just washed it and looked it over. It is very straight and clean, the interior will need to be cleaned but no damage or tears in the seats. It has factory gauges of Tachometer, Speedometer, Fuel with oil light, Temperature with charging light, Clock, and factory Air Conditioning. It has console shift Automatic. The wheels have rust and the tires were new, so very low miles. The car rolls easily and is small so could be trailer ed or towed very easy. I can help with loading it up. I have the title with me. This car could be easily fixed back to very nice running and driving condition. I do not have time or space to fix it myself. Alpine stereo, Boston speakers dated 11/1/07 Please only bid if you plan to follow through with paying,!! the car will need to be trailered so figure that in your cost.
