Up for auction is my Father,s 1979 Chevrolet Cheyenne. It came from the factory equipped with a transmission cooler and was my Dad,s towing vehicle to pull his 28 ft. travel trailer. It has a lot of power and doesn't burn any oil to speak of ( of course it does have some minor leaks). The motor has never been opened up, but runs exceptionally good. The main trouble is that it sat here in the yard and just rusted away. It has 4 nearly new tires, am-fm stereo radio, side box rails, reciever hitch,and bumper guards. It does drive real nice. It has a nearly new cruise control module and it works perfect. The radiator was replaced with a brand new OEM radiator about 5 years ago. It has all the original wheels and all original hubcaps.On Jan-07-12 at 16:25:00 PST, seller added the following information: I think that the truck needs new rear brake shoes-( you can here the rear brakes when you are driving and the Brake light blinks off and mostly on)On Jan-07-12 at 16:34:55 PST, seller added the following information: About 500 miles back I had the big round brake pod under the hood replaced and the master cylinder, front brake pads. I thought that they replaced the rear shoes too, but evidently not. I never even thought about this until I had people asking about driving it a long ways home. I guess I did not think anybody would want to buy that much gasoline.
