To be sold to highest bidder, 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible in need of total restoration. This is the ideal Classic Chevy to build to your specs. I am listing for the owner's widow, she is selling the house this car is sitting in and everything MUST GO! Husband passed away at the beginning of restoration. This '57 will need LOTS OF WORK. No running engine or tranny, rear end taken out of car, will need floor pans, rear quarters banged up some, this is your typical 'barn find' in need of a complete restoration. The car had all the parts before it was disassembled and should be all in boxes, along with MANY extras. Storage shed has additional trunk lids, hoods, bumpers, engine blocks, trannys, etc. Convertible top appears to be complete. Numerous boxes of parts that came off car goes with this '57 Chevy. There is no title, you will have to apply for a lost title or get a bonded title. There is no rear end in the car, it has been removed and the axles pulled out along with the gears so to move it will require special efforts. Having a spare rear end to stick under the frame would assist greatly. Leaf springs are laying in the garage with many of the other parts.
