Hello, Here is a 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS. This is a very intact, well documented Car with the Factory 283 4 Barrel V-8 and a Four speed on the floor. Numbers Match, True SS. Owned by a Local Doctor for many years, Car comes with lots of Receipts and Service Records, and a hand written Log from the Doctor. Also, Note photo of the Factory Broadcast sheet under the seat, tattered but mostly there, this shows without question this is a V8 4 Speed car. It is also a Rare H Code Car, Assembled in Fremont, California. The Car has remained on the West Coast since new. 5837 in VIN dictates SS 283 4 barrel manual trans. Engine was built in Flint June 18th, and is the original and correct JH Code. Runs and drives Great, Power Front Disc Brakes have been added, But all of the original Drum Brake parts are included and in good shape. Car and Dash have an Older Backyard Paint Job, it is thick and Clear coat is peeling. However, underneath the Paint the Body is in excellent shape, with no significant rust anywhere. Currently fitted with an Edelbrock Intake Manifold and Carb, The Original GM Intake and 4 Barrel Carter and Included. Set of five Shelby Cal 500 14x7 slotted Mags. Rear Anti Sway and Ladder bars added. Clear Tiltle, currently registered. A Fun, Small Town Hot Rod with a known history and a clean past, this one didn't ever stray far from stock.
