Listing this for a friend that has lost interest and in my opinion is taking a HUGE LOSS!!!!!!!! Car has a Clean and OPEN indiana title. All VIN numbers are present on the car, the radiator support, each fender apron, and the door tag it is all there. He is going to concentrate on other cars and this one is going. I will keep it simple on the history, $3500 Ebay Purchase years ago by a dishonest seller. It was a 390 car with a 289 and 90% rust free. Well the 90% rust free car arrives 4k later..... rust..... there is none to little seller stated.....yep he was right !!!!!! guess we forgot to ask about bondo, tin patches, news paper stuffed quarter panels ect..........and of course the standard reply "what did you expect for a 40 year old car??" so enough said.....This is how the car is NOW and money spent !!!!!!!! $3500car $700shipping $1050 new quarters $ 500 floor pans $ 400 for rust free drivers door and fender. $ 475 Crites hood $ 3000 body shop bill $ 250 swap meet wheels tires Now 10k later.............not including any soda blasting that we had done buying the BB motor mounts seats ect..... lot of money spent man it adds up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has 2 new full quarters ($549ea plus freight), (2) rust free doors and he has the original door tag, rust free fenders, rust free deck lid. New Crites fiber glass hood that was $400 plus shipping, new front and rear floor pans($500 plus for all of them). Old school slotted mags, PERFECT RUST FREE REAR FRAME RAILS. Trunk is exellent no rot at all where gas tank sits or obove the spring perches where fairlanes are notorious for going. passenger fender apron replaced due to battery acid. The car still retains its original Kelsey Hays 4 piston Disc Brakes. Car rolls just fine. Door tag decodes below. It is fine as-is but it was going to have the bottom of the car as nice as the top but now that will be the new owners decision. The car came with a 289 in it when my friend received it and it is long gone now!!!! the front end was tight before it was dissasembled but as cheep as kits are we were going to replace when the bottom of the car was restored. The car has the big block motor mounts, drive shaft, crossmember, have the front bumper no rear bumper, trim, grill,tailights is all there and usable for a nice driver. Bumper will need re-chromed. NO MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION We do have a completely re-built motor and trans avalible at extra$$$$ came out of a 68 mustang 390 car and it is 100%complete.Yellow fairlane does not go with the car , 427 blower engine does not go with the car they are just some projects i have going. The body should be very close and ready for paint, it had been blocked and guide coated 2 times and should obviously be done again as the car has sustained a few bumps over the years but the quarters,doors,fenders align very nice!!!! As you can see in the pics a small patch by the trunk will be needed it was heavily pitted and bothered my buddy but never got around to fixing it. The fenders are only sitting on the car with a couple of bolts. The car should be very straight as the doors and fenders were very nice with only a few minor dings before any body work was started. Trunk and engine compartment were sand blasted and painted and will need some scrubbing as ther is a bit of overspray on them. The Steel 67GT HOOD DOES NOT COME WITH THE CAR IT IS MINE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It can be negotiated but the fiberglass one is the one he bought and to be sold with the car. The interior is nice driver quality with No rips it is very presentable but not show quality by any means. NO COUNSOL CAR IS BELEIVED TO BE A DELETE COUNSOLE CAR BUT WE CANNOT VERIFY IT DOES HAVE A ODD HUMP COVER WITH A SHIFTER??? Either way we were going to put a 4 speed in it so we did not care!!!!!!!!! I'm sure we have left out plenty but he is starting it out at $3500 no reserve i guarentee if i did'nt have 3 other fairlanes of my own it would be mine, And i know for a fact you cant but a 67GTA 390 car with a clean title and this amount of work for $3500 buck's so good luck !!!!!!!!!!!! EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED NO SUPRISES, SO SOMEONE IS GOING TO GET A HECK OF A DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!! ONE OF THE GUYS SAID IF HE GETS IT, IT WILL BE IN PAINT BUY THE END OF NEXT WEEK THE BODY IS SO CLOSE. ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I MADE A MISTAKE ON THE ENGINE AND TRANS!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS POINTED OUT TO ME THAT THE CAR ACTUALLY HAS A 1967 GT 390 AND AUTOMATIC TRANS WITH THE SHIFT LEVER ATTACHED. HAD SEVERAL GUYS COME LOOK AT THE CAR, BLOCK ,INTAKE,EX MANIFOLDS, AND ONE HEAD ARE ALL 1967 FOR SOME REASON ONE HEAD IS A 68 BUT NOT A BIG DEAL ITS NOT NUMBERS MATCHING ANYWAY. I HAVE AVALIBLE NICE COMPLETE FLOOR HUMP WITH SHIFTER AND ROD THAT HIGH BIDDER HAS OPPORTUNITY TO BUY FIRST ALSO. FOUNT THE FACTORY NONCOUNSOLE FLOOR SHIFTER AND HUMP ALSO THAT WILL GO WITH THE CAR.
